This shows initial symptoms of frost that may be seen the morning after a frost. Depending on the amount of frost and weather conditions, two scenarios will develop, either moderate damage or severe damage. Click here

White speckling is shown, which indicates frost damage to cell tissue. This shows some degree of damage to seeds while other seeds seem to be unaffected. This would require further monitoring to determine the action to take. Click here

These are pods showing premature browning of damaged seeds. Premature browning occurs when the outside of the seed has been damaged by the frost and the inside of the seed remains dark green. Click here to download JPG online. |
